Preview notice: these pages describe the current preview. Operator contact details and legal review are pending. They are not a final public-launch policy.

Privacy Policy

This notice explains the data handling implemented in the current SedonaAttractions.com preview. Do not enter sensitive personal information into trip names or notes.

Saved Places and My Trip

Your browser stores saved places, comparison choices, trip details and an anonymous device identifier in local storage. When the API is available, saved places and trip changes are also sent to the server, where they are associated with that identifier. This is not an account or cross-device sign-in.

Clearing site data in your browser removes the local copy and identifier. It does not by itself delete server records, and can prevent that browser from accessing its previous server-side records. Retention periods and a verified server-data request process must be established before public launch.

Requests and activity records

Web and API requests expose technical information such as network address, request path and browser information to the services handling them. The API records request logs and some service activity, including saved-place and trip actions. Hosting and proxy log retention has not yet been finalized.

Booking-link click records can include a click identifier, the linked place and provider, placement, referrer path, device category and an existing anonymous session reference. These click records are separate from general request logs.

Images and external links

The preview uses images from Unsplash and may use Picsum placeholders. Depending on how an image is served, an image request can reach those providers. Opening an external booking or directions link sends you to another service, whose own privacy terms apply. Any hosting, image, weather or booking providers enabled for launch must be confirmed in the final notice.

Cookies and tracking

The current application source installs no third-party advertising pixels or session-replay tools. Local storage is used for the features described above.

Google Analytics 4 is available as an optional measurement tag. It is enabled only when the deployment sets a measurement ID, and that ID is not set in the default configuration. When enabled, the Google tag sets first-party cookies and sends page views and product interactions — searches, filter changes, saves, trip changes, directions, sharing and booking clicks — to Google Analytics. Google may use the data to identify a visitor and to link activity across its own products and services. Measurements collected here are also recorded by this site’s own backend for saved places and trip actions.

Consent requirements for analytics cookies have not yet been settled for this site. Before a measurement ID is set in any public environment, the operator must confirm the applicable jurisdiction, implement a consent mechanism where one is required, and record the retention period. This statement is not a verification of a future hosting configuration; production network behavior must be checked before launch or after adding integrations.

Questions and privacy requests

A verified operator identity and monitored privacy contact have not yet been supplied for this preview. A working contact method, applicable rights information and retention policy are required before this page can be approved for public launch. No unverified email address or response-time promise is presented here.
