Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie and item of browser storage this site uses, why it is needed, and how to change your choice. Analytics is off until you accept it. Nothing on this page requires an account.

What we store, and why

Essential storage (always on). Saved Places, your comparison selection and your My Trip contents are kept in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember them between visits. An anonymous device identifier is generated so the server can associate your saved places and trip changes with the same browser. This is not an account and does not identify you. These are necessary for features you asked the site to remember, so they are not switched off by declining analytics.
Analytics cookies (opt-in). If you accept analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish one visit from another and keep a visit from being counted twice. These are set only after you accept.
Your consent choice. The record of what you chose is stored in local storage under sedona.consent.v1 so we do not ask you again on every page. It contains no identifier and is never sent to a server.

What analytics measures

With analytics enabled we measure page views and the actions a traveler takes on the site: searches, filter changes, saving a place, adding or reordering trip stops, directions and share clicks, and booking-link clicks. It is used to understand which listings are useful, not to build a profile of you. IP addresses are anonymised before collection.

If you decline analytics, the Google tag is never loaded and this site sends no measurement data to Google. Declining does not remove any feature.

Booking and affiliate measurement

When you click a booking link we open the booking provider’s page for that specific attraction. We record the click against that link so we can confirm which listings send travelers, including the page you came from, the listing, and broad device category. We do not store your IP address with it. This is first-party measurement of our own outgoing links; it is not the same as Google Analytics and is not switched off by declining analytics, because it cannot be attributed to a listing without it. How to change your choice

Use Cookie preferences in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and accept or decline analytics again. Your browser’s own controls can also clear or block storage for this site; clearing it removes your saved places and trip from this browser. Your withdrawal applies from the next page view.

Providers and changes

Analytics data is sent to Google Analytics 4. Booking pages are served by Viator, which sets its own cookies under its own policy once you leave this site. Images may be served by third-party providers, which can receive the request. If the set of providers or cookies changes, this page must be updated before the change takes effect, and a material change may require asking again.

A verified operator identity and monitored privacy contact have not yet been supplied for this site. A working contact method, applicable rights information and a retention policy are required before this page can be approved as final. No unverified email address or response-time promise is presented here.
